Events and Fundraisers Planned by Non-Profit Organizations in Columbus Ohio

Non-profit organizations in Columbus Ohio are dedicated to providing essential services to the local community. The Central Ohio Furniture Bank provides essential furniture to local families affected by poverty and in empty homes. They are also partnering with the Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority and Finance Fund to operate Carol Stewart Village, a neighborhood for young adults ages 18 to 24.

Events

The Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio is hosting the Columbus Buddy Walk. This annual event allows guests to interact with players, managers and personalities from the Blue Jackets club while contributing to the Foundation's ongoing support for the health and well-being of young people in Central Ohio. Guests are encouraged to dress up in their favorite black and white outfit and enjoy Wonderball, which celebrates the creative spirit of Columbus through collaboration with artists and performers who inspire. The Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation has partnered with organizations throughout the Central Ohio community to help with their fundraising initiatives.

The organization is donating autographed Blue Jackets products every month to non-profit organizations to help them in their fundraising efforts.

Fundraisers

Star House, an organization that provides programs and services for young adults ages 18 to 24, is offering telehealth, in-office and equine-assisted psychotherapy in central Ohio. They also offer scholarships to clients who need financial assistance.

Central Ohio RMHC

keeps families close to their children while they receive care at Columbus hospitals, stay at the Ronald McDonald House, or rest in Ronald McDonald family rooms located inside two hospitals.

Opera Project Columbus

aims to seek, find and encourage raw and emerging operatic talent as they reinvent this art form to attract contemporary audiences.

The Columbus Blue Goose golf outing

is a fund-raising activity for the insurance industry in Central Ohio and benefits the Nationwide Children's Hospital Burn Center. These events and fundraisers provide an opportunity for people in Central Ohio to come together for a common cause and make a difference in their community.
